BPT fresher resume format
Bachelor of Physiotherapy
A physiotherapy fresher is hired on the rotatory internship: patients a day, the rotations completed, and one outcome you can put a number on. Sports and rehabilitation clinics also read the taping and the events covered. This format writes the internship as a job and the outcomes as bullets.

Jobs a BPT fresher applies for
What to write when you have no job yet
A fresher resume is not empty; it is built from different material. For a BPT, the material is this, each line with a number:
- ✓The six-month rotatory internship, with patients a day per rotation and one measured outcome.
- ✓A sports desk at an event with the athletes handled.
- ✓A community or home-visit posting with visits completed.
- ✓The final-year project with an adherence or outcome figure.
Skills, with the proof that makes each one credible
A skill you cannot defend in the interview is worse than one you leave off. Each of these is listed with what proves it.
- Assessment and manual therapy
- Rotations where you did it and the patient count.
- Exercise prescription
- A protocol you designed and who used it.
- Electrotherapy and chest physiotherapy
- Sessions a week and a documented improvement count.
- Taping and acute care
- Events covered and athletes treated.
- Documentation
- Progress notes audited without a deficiency.
The Indian details other builders skip
Marksheets, objectives, the declaration block, the credential a shortlist is actually built on. For a BPT:
- CGPA or percentage
- Print the percentage: "Bachelor of Physiotherapy, 79%". State the six-month internship explicitly in the details line because postings ask for it. Class XII medical percentage beneath.
- The career objective
- “BPT graduate with a six-month rotatory internship treating 15 patients a day and a sports physiotherapy desk at a state meet, seeking a junior physiotherapist role in orthopaedic or sports rehabilitation.”
- The credential that gates the shortlist
- State council registration where the state has one, printed in Certifications with the year; where it does not, the internship completion certificate stands in. A taping certification and BLS follow.
- What to leave off
- Leave off father's name, date of birth, marital status, religion, caste, nationality and a photo unless the posting asks for one. None of it helps a shortlist and some of it invites bias. Drop the declaration block and the signature line too: a PDF sent from your own email is already yours. Keep the page to name, phone, email, city and one link.
- Campus drive or off-campus
- For a campus drive, lead with the degree, marks and projects; the recruiter is comparing you to classmates and reads the page in twenty seconds. For an off-campus or Naukri application, move the internship and the role-specific skills up, match the posting's words, and set your Naukri headline to the role you want, not the degree you hold. Common questions
Should I specialise on the resume as a fresher?
Name the direction in the header title and keep all rotations on the page. "Orthopaedic and Sports Rehabilitation" reads as intent; the rotations show breadth.
Is home-visit physiotherapy a real first job?
It is a large and growing pipeline, especially in metros. If you want it, the home-visit posting and the adherence project are the lines to lead with.
