Should I apply for the same roles as B.Tech graduates?
Apply for junior engineer, technician and supervisor roles, where a diploma with an apprenticeship is often preferred over a B.Tech without one. Graduate engineer trainee postings usually say B.E. or B.Tech and mean it.
Is lateral entry into B.Tech worth mentioning?
Yes, with the expected year, if you have started. It signals the trajectory and some companies fund it.
